Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before subscribing to or ordering from Historical Publications LLC. By placing an order or subscribing to any of our publications, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Subscriptions
Civil War News and Military Antique Collector are each published six (6) times per year on a bimonthly schedule. Subscription rates are as follows:
- Civil War News: $34.95 for 1 year (6 issues) · $59.95 for 2 years (12 issues)
- Military Antique Collector: $39.95 for 1 year (6 issues) · $72.00 for 2 years (12 issues)
Prices are in U.S. dollars. Rates for international subscriptions may differ — please contact us for current international rates. All subscription rates are subject to change without prior notice.
Payment
Payment is due at the time of subscription. We accept major credit and debit cards (processed securely via Stripe) and PayPal. We also accept checks payable to Historical Publications LLC mailed to our address. Your subscription will begin processing upon receipt of payment.
Delivery
Issues are mailed via USPS to the address you provide. Please allow 4–6 weeks for your first issue. If you move or your address changes, it is your responsibility to notify us promptly. We are not responsible for issues mailed to an outdated address. Address changes should be submitted at least 6 weeks before your next scheduled mailing.
Renewals
We will send renewal notices by mail and/or email before your subscription expires. Your subscription does not renew automatically unless you have specifically enrolled in automatic renewal. If your subscription lapses, back issues from the period of lapse are not guaranteed to be available.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you are dissatisfied with your subscription for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your order for a full refund of unmailed issues. After 30 days, we will issue a prorated refund for the remaining unmailed issues at our discretion. Refunds are not issued for gift subscriptions after the subscription has been activated and the first issue mailed.
Gift Subscriptions
Gift subscriptions are non-transferable and non-refundable once the first issue has been mailed to the gift recipient. The subscription will be sent in the recipient's name to the address provided at the time of purchase.
Back Issues & Shop Orders
Back issues and merchandise are sold subject to availability. All sales of back issues and merchandise are final. Damaged or incorrect items will be replaced at no charge if reported within 30 days of receipt.
Intellectual Property
All content published in Civil War News and Military Antique Collector, including articles, photographs, illustrations, and design elements, is the property of Historical Publications LLC or its contributors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or transmission of any content without our prior written consent is prohibited.
Limitation of Liability
Historical Publications LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your subscription, use of our website, or any product purchased from us. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription or order.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fannin County, Georgia.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
