Craig L. Barry was born in Charlottesville, Va. He holds his BA and Masters degrees from UNC (Charlotte). Craig served The Watchdog Civil War Quarterly as Associate Editor and Editor from 2003–2017. The Watchdog published books and columns on 19th-century material and donated all funds from publications to battlefield preservation. He is the author of several books including

Commemorating the Gettysburg National Cemetery dedication of November 1863 Join us for this solemn event featuring a luminary candle on all of the 3,512 Civil War soldiers’ graves.

Names of the fallen soldiers are read throughout the evening. Support the Gettysburg Foundation with a heartfelt donation by sponsoring a candle in honor or memory of a loved one. Sponsorships accepted through Oct. 28, 2022. Event is subject to weather.
